Our company has an intranet with BM3.5 for our firewall and doing NAT. I
have configured a Reverse Proxy on the BM server to serve a Webpage from
an internal NT IIS server to employees coming in from the internet
(public side) and this works fine.I need security on this Webserver so I
then checked the option on the Reverse Proxy to use Authentication and I
followed the instructions that I found from Craig Johnson on a different
post "SSL FROM INTERNET TO PRIVATE NET LOOKING FOR PRIVATE IP ADDRESS"
in configuring my Access rules and filter exceptions (before I
followed Craig's instructions I was not getting a BM login
authentication page).
When I go to the url or ip address from the internet (public side) I get
an authentication page with the words "Please Login". When I login, I
get a message telling me that I an being re-directed to an unsecure site
and I click <OK>. I then get sent back to the authentication page with
the words "Please Login"??? I never get redirected to the internal
webserver and I never get error messages???
I should say that from the intranet (private side) If I do not have my
dnwtrust and clntrust loaded I do get an authentication page but this is
using the regular proxy not the reverse proxy. Also I am not trying to
do ssl on my NT webserver or pass SSL thru my reverse proxy.
Please anybody,Any Ideas???
