where could I post this thread again? Any Suggestions?

Hi,
Does anyone know how DLU creates the users on the workstations?
Obviously it uses NT-means. So one could use these to create users
with different names and rights on workstations via ZenWorks!?
I need to create one special user (sweepupd) on all workstations
remotely who belongs to the "users" group and has the right to "log on
as service". Microsoft Network is not installed, so "net user" and so
on can´t be used.
Thanks and greetings,
Fab

First, forget about DLU - This will not help you in this case.

DLU will only create the account when a login is performed on the WS in
question.

I know that DLU only creates local users when a network login is
performed.I also know that using the "net" commands could solve my
problem. As mentioned, the "Microsoft Network" is not installed on
most of our workstations. So the "net" commands are not available.
What I wanted to know is: how does ZenWorks realize the creation of
local users. This works wheather the "microsoft network services" are
installed or not. It is also able to perform the setting of user
rights the way I need to do it.
