We have been and are currently running NDS and have recently added
ADS authentication. Our supervisors in our Customer Service dept.
(approximately 20 pcs) used to login to the local workstation as
Administrator but after switching to ADS they are using their own ADS
account. They are using the same workstations they had before the
crossover. Now, when they login and try to open attachments in our
Groupwise e-mail system it is looking for an MS Office Resource on a
network drive which they have not been granted access to. I am
assuming this has something to do with the profiles being new to the
workstation and the workstation not recognizing any other profiles
other than Admin and Guest accounts when we installed MS Office and
Groupwise originally! Is there anyway to change the profiles settings
or does anyone know any reghacks to add this profile to MS Offices'
config maybe to "fake it out." We are currently reinstalling
Groupwise and the whole Office package to fix the errors. We wouild
like to find an easier resolution.
I apologize for this not being more explanatory and detailed.
Thank You!
