Hello,
How can I add a list to the main index?
For example, the List of Tables and List of Figures are in the index by default.
I recently created a List of Acronyms and List of Symbols. How can I add them as well? Sorry if the answer is obvious, but I could not find the place to manage the items presented in the main index.
Thank you very much,

Hi Bernardo,

The "Glossary" and the "Acronyms" are already listed in the Table of Contents.  See the attached image.

So I am assuming you want something else… but I didn't understand what.  Can you please try to explain again what you really want?

Thanks.

Hello,

Yes, maybe I did not explain myself very well.
So, I will try again: the attached file "contents" is my main index. There we can see that the list of tables and the list of figures are printed. On the other hand, the list of symbols and acronyms do not appear in the "contents", even if they are printed in the pdf: see attached files "symbols" and "acronyms".

My aim would be to add in the "contents" something like (red color):

Lista de Figuras xiii

Lista de Tabelas xv

Siglas e acrónimos xvI

Lista de Símbolos xvII

  1. 1  Enquadramento Teórico 1

    1. 1.1  SNA-SistemaNervosoAutónomo....................... 1 1.1.1 PerturbaçõesnoSNA .......................... 2

    2. 1.2  Constituiçãodoolhohumano.......................... 2 1.2.1 Apupila..................................

Thank you!

Bernardo

Hi,

This is wired.   Those lists show in TOC as expected (although with different "names" than the ones you want, namely "Glossário" and "Siglas").  (See attached image!)

Which version of the template are you using?

That’s the problem.

You can sove that in two different ways:

— 1)  [PREFERRED]  update your thesis to the latest version.  You’ll get what you want “for free” and also (hopefully) less bugs.

— 2) Add “\glstoctrue” just before the “\begin{document}”  (not sure it will work, but most probably will)

Hello!

I just have noticed that my glossary list does not appear in index. It only appear the list of figures.

I have the lastest version.

Best regards,
MM
