Problem diagnosed and solved.  It was a font issue.   Will be corrected in next release.

Meanwhile, to fix it in your copy follow these steps:

— open file "ist.clo" in foler "unlthesis-files/ChapStyles"

— replace line 11 from

\font\ch@pnamfont=cmr8 at 8mm % computer modern bright

to

\font\ch@pnamfont=ebmr8 at 8mm % computer modern bright

Try again.  Hope it works now! :)

Thanks! Now it works with the diacritics. Although It did not occur to me before, I noticed that the chapstyles ist, elegant and vz14 do not render ''correctly'' italics in the title

I was testing the new font styles added and found that there are some errors raised when calling for the fonts:

baskervaldx,heuristica,fbb

Command \copyright unavailable in encoding T1. \printcopyright

garamond

File `garamondx.sty' not found. \RequirePackage
