Hi,

I'm John Coonen, a co-leader of the Joomla! Chicago User Group. I'm helping with the Joomla! 2.5 Marketing crew, a group of folks like you who decided to band together to spread the good word about Joomla!  Hopefully, based on this, you can do two things to get the BUZZ going about Joomla 2.5 and get Joomla! trending:

1. Write a blogpost on your Joomla! User Group Site about the 2.5 update
2. Spread the good word right now on Social Networks, E-mail, and good old fashioned phone and personal contacts at meetings and more

Here's the Joomla! 2.5 Update:

Joomla! 2.5 is on-schedule for lift-off tomorrow! That's Tuesday, January 24th, 2012. Please let your J.U.G. Members know. This is going to be a long-term release of Joomla! There are many new features to Joomla! 2.5, including:

• SmartSearch Technology: Major enhancement to search your Joomla-powered sites
• New JPlatform Under the Hood: Think “big power, little footprint”
• Multi-DB Support:  Long awaited by enterprise, Joomla! goes beyond MySQL
• Update Notification: From the Admin panel, you'll see whether an update is needed
