Westin Convention Center Pittsburgh

All,

I have checked into the hotel and wanted to share two pieces of information: (1) rooming information, and (2) parking information.

Rooming Information

Room 1507: Rachel, Andrea, Leigh & Danielle

Room 1528: Kelly, Madison, Casey

Room 1530: Lauren, Caroline & Inga

I already have the keys to room 1530 to hand out.  Rooms 1507 & 1528 are still being cleaned and they will call me to get those keys when they are ready.

Parking Information

The Westin has parking here — $24/day (I think) for valet with unlimited in-out priveleges and $20/day (I think) for self-park.  However, right behind the Westin is a Pittsburgh Parking Authority garage (shares a facility with Greyhound).  The rates for garage are $13.00 during the week and $5.00 on weekends.  Since I don’t think we will be driving all weekend, I took that option.  If you would like to do that, take a Right out of the Westin front circle and then turn Right onto Penn Avenue.  Pass the next street (Eleventh Street) and then pull into the garage.

That’s all.  If you can, please send me a text message at 703-625-2140 with your estimated arrival time because I need to be here to give your daughters the keys to their rooms.

We will meet in lobby at 5:30, grab dinner at one of the many restaurants at market square and walk to the Nats game less than a mile walk from hotel.

For those ADULTS interested, a group is planning to meet in the hotel lobby at 5:00pm to head over to Rivertowne for a beer before the game.
