I am forwarding the message below regarding the scrimmages next Wednesday for the roster players.  Please read the details regarding time limits.

Hello everyone,

Welcome back after a long wonderful spring break. Just want to give everyone a heads up on the mini scrimmages next week, Wed April 30th at Holmes MS from 6-8pm.

Don and Belinda will be there early to try and set up the volleyball nets on two courts. If there are other users in the gym please stay outside in the hallway as we do not want to disrupt them. Please make sure to have your team be on time as I like to have teams start warming up at 6pm sharp. So that mean knee pads, socks and shoes on ready to go due to the time we have. Remember court time is 6pm.

 

Sometime the doors are locked and the janitor will not open until 6pm. So if teams get there early, warm up outside if the weather permits.

 

I prefer coaches to set up the nets while players are warming up. Scrimmages will start immediately at 6:10pm with a 21 min time limit.

Don and Belinda will keep track of the time so we are on schedule.

 

Rules to remember:

1. No sports drinks are allow in the gym. They can drink in the hallway and must stay out in the hallway.

2. Water bottles are allow.

3. Parents are NOT allow up on the bleachers. There should be plenty of space around the two courts.

4. Please remind your parents to be supportive. We are here to promote the sport/games of volleyball. 

5. At 7:55pm, all scrimmages will end and nets will be taken down. Other users have gym at 8pm.

6. At 7:55pm, please reminder your team and parents to immediately head out to the hallway.
7. Pick up your trash.

 

Metro teams will provide balls and carts to share.
