Hi, guys.
As some of you already know, I run a small all-breed rescue,
specializing in bully breeds. I know that a lot of you already have
one or more dogs of your own and aren't looking to foster or adopt,
but I would love to find some folks who were interested in coming out
on the weekends and walking and/or socializing some of the foster
dogs. We don't have an adoption "show" right now. I am hoping to
schedule some this summer and volunteers would be helpful for that
too. Other possibilities include creating and distributing adoption
flyers, etc. If you are interested in becoming a part of our
"network" and volunteering, please check out
http://groups.google.com/group/odessarescue
for more information. I promise, it is not a high volume list at
all. Just a place to touch base, meet the dogs, etc. I'm trying to
schedule a "real life" meeting in the near future, as well. By the
end of summer, I hope to have a regular obedience type class geared
toward putting CGC's on our rescue dogs too.
And of course, foster homes are ALWAYS needed. So--if anybody has
some spare time and wants to come play with one of the foster dogs,
that'd be awesome.
Please excuse my rambling post. Look forward to hearing from anybody
who is interested in helping out. Thanks!
