Hi Everyone,
If you haven't already, be sure to RSVP for Code for NoVA's THIRD National Day of Civic Hacking, taking place June 6th from 8am-9pm at the Durant Center in Alexandria VA. This year, we are excited to be hosting the event at the Durant Center, with support from the City of Alexandria's information technology team. Attached here is a flyer with further details of the event. Please feel free to share out this flyer (print, email, social media - however you can!) with your networks.

Food, Prizes and Fun!
We will provide breakfast, lunch and snacks to all participants, and each project team will have the opportunity to present their ideas/work at the end of the event to compete for exciting prizes, including "Lunch with a VIP" and cool science/tech prizes.
Meet local government technology leaders, federal government subject matter experts, local resident civic hackers, designers, user experience experts, and more. Explore deeper engagement with your government by discussing open data and technological solutions to pressing government challenges. No technical experience is necessary though! All skill levels and interests are welcome!
SPECIAL this year - register for a special Firefox OS Class to learn about app development in Firefox OS! RSVP under the Firefox OS Class ticket.
