Happy new year to all our supporters. The fight against the cuts is
continuing into 2011 with only the briefest of pauses for the
festivities.

We particularly encourage you to come along to Combating the Cuts:
Planning for Action next Saturday and input into an anti-cuts
strategy, but there are many other events for you to get involved in
over the next week, details of all (and more) this below.

COMBATING THE CUTS

Next Saturday (January 15th), Notts SOS will be hosting Combating the
Cuts: Planning for Action, an opportunity for ant-cuts activists,
trade unionists, service users and others to come together to plan a
strategy for defeating the cuts. It'd be brilliant if you could make
it.

This event will run from 10.30am-4pm at the Dunkirk and Old Lenton
Community Centre, Dunkirk, NJ7 2JW.

The venue is fully accessible and there are disabled facilities.

We have now published a draft agenda for the day. The intention is
that this is flexible, particularly the morning session, allowing us
to reflect the particular interests of the people attending.

Veggies Catering Campaign, for donations. There are also a number of
other food outlets nearby.
