Anyone know where I could get some heat resistant material suitable for CNC?

I need to make a ring with ID 63mm OD 84mm and 6mm thick.
It's for repairing an air compressor and needs to be stable at high temperatures. I tried Delrin and it melted :(
Looking at PEEK or Tufnol 10g/40, but will take other suggestions.
Cheap or free is preferable

You Might be able to get an offcut of steel bar from somewhere?

How high a temperature. When I used to work in cryogenics we used Peek for things upto about 200c. Tufnol we used on the superconducting magnet so only know from room temperature downwards. When we went up to 700c we would use mica but is brittle
