Variac / autotransformer donation

I've got a few variac's of different sizes and I was wondering if the hackspace could use one?

They are all in variying state of repair  - I'll fix one for the hakspace and one in for you Adam but it may need a bit of servicing - probabily cleaning brushes, attaching plugs and sockets and some sort of repair to the housing or dial.

I've also got a 20A single phase and a 20A three phase that could be loaned if anyone wants to use them.

I've brought in two variacs, one for the space and one for you Adam. Your one needs a bit of love, the shaft seems to have seized, there is no handle, power plugs or sockets, and the case is scratched and missing screws.

I'll leave it on the big projects shelf with a do not hack label.

Thanks, I will be down tonigjt so will have a look at it then :) fittings and cosmetics are easy and I have ideas for the bearings :)
