Ikea sewing machine needle is broken

I have accidentally broken the needle of the ikea sewing machine (sorry) and I don't know where to find a replacement needle. Are there any in the hackspace or do I need to go to ikea to get a new needle?

it uses standard needles available from most supermarkets and department stores, but certainly from Coles, if none are available in the space (there should be suitable machine needles in the plastic tubs near the industrial sewing machine, and possibly in the drawer of the industrial machine too, but the ones /for/ the industrial machine are not suitable for the IKEA machine)

if you're unsure which needle you require, the part of the needle still in the machine can be used to identify a matching replacement.

Thanks Paul, I will be back on Saturday so if someone else has not handled it I will make sure to replace it.

Replace it with a 70 /80 once from the box, that should work on most materials.
