Using inkscape for embroidery machine

Found a plugin for inkscape that looking interesting for making
patches and the like - no idea at the moment if it's possible to use
it with our machine or not though. Anyone used it?

Thanks - I'll download and give it a try.  Looks promising - it produces 
PES files which is what our (Brother) machine uses.

I'm getting an error message "no module named shapely geometry"
Any ideas?

OK Python people, this is the content of a file called "requirements.txt".  So how do I acquire it?

Open a terminal window in the folder with requirements.txt in and run 'pip install -r requirements.txt'

Thanks - I managed the first half of that sentence (much to my surprise!) but it didn't like pip :(
