Hi all, I'm not a member of Nottingham Hackspace but am thinking of joining soon.
I'm interested in homebrew software (for those that don't know, unofficial custom software on hacked game consoles, completely legal btw), specifically for the Wii right now. There is a device called a
USB Gecko that makes development much easier, allowing you to upload code to the Wii over a wire (rather than moving an SD card between the console and a PC), and debugging with GDB.
The problem is that this device is no longer manufactured and I was unable to find any on eBay and similar websites. Luckily the PCBs and schematics are open source, so I want to make one myself. I have never done any hardware projects before, so any help would be appreciated.
