Hack the Space Day is today! (sorry for the late email!) Saturday 23rd of April 9AM - 4PM.
This will mean the Hackspace is closed except for work to improve the Hackspace itself. You can see past work and organisation for the tomorrow on Slack but feel free to turn up even if you've never been to one, we need lots of help to keep the space maintained!
Activities for tomorrow will include:
- A review of project storage - make sure your project labels are up to date!
- Post-fire cleanup focusing on
cleaning the machines and sorting safety equipment in the dusty
area ready for limited reopening of the area, and cleaning the
table saw for potential sale
- Cleaning the space where
needed including all fire exit walkways
- Additional help for teams to
organise, clean and assess their areas for improvements - this
includes 3D Printing Area improvements and moving some of the
CnC Team tools
- Mounting the large screen we
obtained sitting in the class room, in the Blue Room
- Team Storage review
- Organising waste in prep of
skip downstairs
If you want to talk to the Trustees some of us will also be present, and new members are highly encouraged to come and help joining in to improve your space. The entire space is volunteer run - by members for members, which means you!
