The hackspace has generously been donated a pot full of cunductive paint by Phenoptix (http://www.phenoptix.com/).

This has a use-by date in the next month so we need to use it up.
I've also been inspiredby seeing this instrucatble:
http://www.instructables.com/id/Making-a-Touch-Sensitive-OnOff-Circuit-with-Bare-/

I was planning on painting some simple circuits onto the walls in the clean working area.
I was going to paint working circuit diagrams with oversized components.

Circuits I was thinking of inlcude:
Basic On/Off switch
LED circuits with different resistors
Transistor circuit as amplifier

The oversized components will just be normal components in larger fake packaging (eg, resistor inside a toilet roll tube painted to look right).

Anyway - I'll be doing that one night soon, if anyone is interested in help or has any ideas on this that would be great.

Cheers,

Matt

Those are an excellent idea for the paint. By all means get on and do it.
Will your likely use up all of it, or are more ideas needed?

Awesome idea!
How about a self destruct circuit using one of those huge emergency stop buttons and a segment led display with a simple counter from 9 to 0 :-)

Happy to help but not around until after next Monday!

Is it the bare conductive stuff?
If you need more i have another tub that needs using.

something like this would be awesome for making interactive touchable art... as a artist i don't like the fact that art espcially sculptures should not be touched... why should something last forever!
