Healthy medical volunteer appeal

University of Nottingham appeal for HEALTHY volunteers aged 18 - 55

Dr Helen White is trying to contact people who could assist with a medical trial. 

The study is a University of Nottingham magnetic resonance spectroscopy brain imaging study of individuals with psychosis/schizophrenia and comparison healthy control volunteers. We are also taking blood samples and we will be doing molecular analysis. The problem they are having is not recruitment of patients, but recruitment of healthy control individuals.  It is an important study and it would terrible if it had to stop because of recruitment.

The main criteria for a health control person is that they have to be aged between 18-55, not be a University student, and do not have a personal or family history of psychosis. The attachment gives further information if people would like to be involved.

The testing takes place at the QMC and UP Sir Peter Mansfield Imaging Centre. People receive Amazon vouchers for their time.
