How active is NotORM?

I'm thinking of using this for a side-project of mine although i'm thinking the library seems a bit stale as there hasn't much in terms of updates on its GitHub for sometime - is this being actively maintained? If not does anyone recommend any other lightweight MySQL 'wrappers'
