Noto Sans not working with Microsoft

Dear Google,

 

Noto Sans fonts, created to work with all the languages, are not working with the most popular text editor on the planet, Microsoft Word. What a paradox!

 

Have made a post about it yesterday on Microsoft Community, and today Microsoft Agent got back to us that the issue exists also on their side

The font Noto Sans works with PowerPoint and Excel, but not with Word (works also with Adobe software)

 

What exactly you believe is the issue?
