Noto Sans not working in Microsoft Word

Dear all,

I've installed Noto Sans in my system (Windows 8), but I simply can't have it rendered in Microsoft Word. No matter what Noto Sans font I choose, it falls back to Arial.

(Noto Sans typeface downloaded from the official website.)

I have other non default fonts installed that work fine. Finally, Noto Sans just work in PowerPoint!
