I am a software engineer at Garmin, and we use Noto Sans SC in our products for the China market.

Recently, we learned that products sold in China must comply with the GB 18030-2022 standard, and for consumer products, Level 2 compliance is required.

We have reviewed the following discussions and resources related to Noto CJK:

Based on our research, it appears that Noto Sans SC is suitable for supporting GB 18030-2022 Level 2 compliance.
