Noto Font for Mesoamerican writing systems

Hello Team,

While I was reviewing on the current fonts that exist for the languages, I noticed that at this time there has not been a font created for many of the writing systems that were used on Mesoamerica, like the Maya, Epi-Olmec and Mixtec hieroglyphic script.

As someone who is heavily involved on the world of maya epigraphic work, I'd like to inquire if there have been efforts to implement these writing systems onto the google fonts repertory, or if there is a way that us as Designers and Epigraphers can collaborate towards the creation of these fonts.
