Hello everyone

This coming Monday Vince will be giving a presentation to which I'm looking forward to. He's got a lot of very actionable info that we can all benefit from.
Which gave me an idea...

We should consider giving presentation geared towards start-ups in the house. So for example next Monday I'd like to share specific SEO/Marketing tips
related to "Gosuway" and "Forever Alive" and the week after I'll choose 1 or 2 other companies.

Live examples like that are more helpful than theoretical "lessons" and can benefit everyone in the house.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

It's a great idea, I think that learning is one of the most important
focus in a young startup.

On a related note, I am planning on doing Open Coffee Wednesday mornings
with Seb Provencher. We would hang out from 8h-9h AM and answer
questions about managing a startup. Extending in a way the Tap in
Tuesday format.

We had this idea after realizing we were both have 1-2 coffees per week
with aspiring entrepreneurs, most often giving really similar advice.

So we thought that bundling these meetings together would provide better
insights (and efficiency). We plan on doing this on a regular schedule,
our first date is not set yet, probably shooting for Wednesday next
week, May 4th.

Curious to see what the interest level is for this type of meetings.

It reminds me also the hackademy project (using the group to learn)

I think those initiatives would be interesting if there is a way to record the teachings and interventions on the web. Like add notes to the wiki (example) or a video.

So the intervention & knowledge is not lost, and can be shared after the event.

What do you think of labeling all this under the Hackademy?

It would be nice to have a "course kit" that would cover how it would work.

I'm also planning on making courses for devs at the beginning of may.

Ildar - great initiative to apply your priactical knowledge to real situations; I feel like I've already picked up a lot from your Monday presentations, so really looking forward to this.

Thank you.
