Hi All

This project has been very popular with up to 20 people signing up in either learning or teaching knowledge, and possibly. Mark MacLeod has suggest a lunch & learn session to learn accounting basics but we're still waiting to see what's going on for the other topics.

What about meeting up to discuss possible formats? They are discussions if the sessions should be "formal", with lectures, or more oriented towards peer & group learning. Apparently, there are also those who are not looking for classes as such, but more for pair programming / mentoring. Plus there are also a few who want online classes

Please add your name & the times you are available. A time & date will be choosen monday (the one with most people). thanks

and yes, it would be cool to come with ideas on the learning format

I would like to teach a session to follow up my "how to be a CTO" I gave
at ConFoo. I could adjust it depending on participant needs. This is a
presentation + informal QA format.

I would also like to prepare something a bit more formal for this
summer, learning to program for kids 13-17 yrs old, in a format a bit
like what SAT is doing for DJ/VJing for kids at

I am not available to work on the meta of the hackademy, but please post
progress on this list.

For everyone interested in the hackademy, the meetup is thursday at 8AM, Notman Café. We have 1 hour (1 hour max since many also have jobs) to discuss formats, where we want to take it to,  if it's going to be online / offline etc.
