I think 6 people is enough to get the group grown rules discussion going. What do we do about film selection? Post due dates? How to invite or select new members? Is this a democracy or should I rule with an iron fist? What ever we need to do. I think those great poets the Blackeyed Peas said it best when they said' "Let's get it started!"

Love your fearless leader,

Enough with the talk! As long as NO subtitles are involved for the first AMERICAN film we select. I say let's start out by decade. 1970's to start.

If we start out in the 70s I am going to suggest Network. No subtitles
you Yankee Dogs!

The 70s encompassed a broad range of great film from gangsters -
Godfathers. Blackploitation - Super Fly, To counter culture
masterpieces - Network, The Last Picture Show, to Sci Fi - Star Wars
Fools!

I nominate an American masterpiece with no subtitles, Network. Who is with me!

Carl,

This is a good idea. I am in favor of something like this. I just wanted the ladies to have a chance to add their comments. I emailed them both today and if they do not respond by tomorrow I think we should just start with Carl's idea. The person whose turn it is will make 3 selections then the group will decide which film we are most interested in reveiwing. The "Decider" will also vote. In the event of a tie, the person that recommended the films will choose between the tied films. If he/she cannot decide then ***Your Honorable Lordship*** will decide. If there are no objections to this plan then it will commence tomorrow at 7pm eastern. "So It Shall Be Written, So It Shall Be Done" Good idea Carl. You did go to TEMPLE right?

Best regards,

Your fearless leader, Honorable lordship, Commander of all that he surveys, General man about town and Easy on the eyes.
