I have notify pro on my android phone (t-mobile Vibrant). I have
growl running on my pc, and I port forward 23053 to my pc and use
dyndns to connect. That all works great. I can send test
notifications, and actual real notifications go to my desktop like a
champ. But my notify.io isn't showing anything. I have the notify.io
account set up in notify pro with my email address. But my notify.io
doesn't have any sources showing at all. How do I add my phone to a
source in notify.io? Or is there something else that I need to do.

Ultimately I want to be able to use my work computer, which has growl
running on it, but does not have a permanent routable ip address. So
I want to use notify.io as a subscription source for my work computer.

Also, can I forward notifications from a growl client to notify.io?
That way I could have it set up so that if something interesting
happens on my home pc, I could forward that notification to notify.io,
and my work pc would get it. And hopefully my cell phone too, but I
don't know of any android clients to receive notify.io notifications.

Sorry for the multiple semi-related questions in one thread.

Anyway, so far, so good. I think notify.io will be a super service
for me. Thanks so much for setting it up.

A request on notify.io website should show after notify pro sends it's first notification .. should be in the sources page in the right hand sidebar....

i wrote notify pro for iphone/android.

Apparently notify pro and/or notify.io is case sensitive with regards
to the email address. When I entered the email address in notify pro,
it capitalized the first letter, as android phones do for most text
fields. No problem usually. I just let it capitalize it. Well, in
this case, the case must be exact. I have reconfirmed that I CAN send
notifications to notify.io if I use all lower case in my email address
in the notify.io setting within notify pro. If I change the first
letter of my email address to a capital letter, the notification will
not be sent. Change it back to lower case and it is sent.
