The new version of the client is now the download link in Getting Started.

Also, the new messaging backend is being used in the ListenURLs. If you set up a new Desktop Notifier ListenURL with the old client, you'll get those ghost messages from the keepalives. Download the new client:

The old listen URLs in your ~/.Nio file will still work for the time being. But you probably want to go back and get the new one(s) from the Outlets page.

Next, we need to get API requests for sources to redirect to a new API on App Engine. Do you think we can just set up a redirect from the old API endpoint to the new one? Alternatively, I may be able to set up api.notify.io to also point to App Engine, and implement the same endpoint there.

We're almost there!

This is awesome! I'll make sure to put in a reminder when I push out
an update to my app to let people know to update their Listen URL's.

Also as a side note Notify Pro for Android is available and free on
the Android Market (sends sms/call/etc notifications to notify.io). I
will probably add support to Android Notifier as well.

Having notify.io being stable will be a huge milestone, I'm sure more
people will start to use it. Especially since Growl for Windows has
native support for it.
