Membership Meeting at Dahlia's

Hello everyone!

We will be meeting on October 16th, 7pm at Dahlia's home, 1340 Manor Road.

Some light snacks will be there and water, but if you would like to bring anything to share that would be much appreciated!

The agenda will include:

Leadership. As you may recall, as of our last meeting, Gabe, Rachel, and Kate stepped into leadership roles. Unfortunately, both Gabe and Rachel found they needed to step away. Consequently, Lincoln and Amy stepped in to support Kate and Annie in the interim. We will discuss all of this further when we meet on October 16, but for the interim, the ad hoc leadership team is composed of Kate, Lincoln, and Amy.

Potential speaker events. We will also discuss ideas for upcoming events, including what speaker events might be possible. Here are ideas that have been generated so far. WE have generated a few new (low-cost ideas in the past few weeks), including a possible panel discussion on Judaism and Environmentalism with Jesse Deutscher and Rick Kool and a possible talk by Jamie Elman of Yidlife Crisis about being a Jewish Artist. Organizational status. It has been raised that we may want to consider becoming a registered society–we know that some of you have expertise in this area.
