It would be nice to have an option to sort the output of the n.py
listing by modified time and creation date. Now it seems to only be sort
ed alphabetically. Would that be possible?

You mean the file's creation time and modification time, right? All notes within a file would then have the same times. Is that what you want?

Yes, that is what I meant, so I can sort files in different ways when
doing n.py to list all files.
