Crane Operations MC Decatur Campus

Starting Monday, January 12, 2026, and lasting until May 2026, Medical City Decatur will have a crane on site for the roof to the main hospital to be replaced. 

 

CRANE LOCATION:

609 Medical Center Drive

Decatur, TX 76234

 

The crane will be located near the ambulance entrance on the SE Corner of the hospital.  It will be off the roadway in the grass next to the hospital's chiller towers.  (I have included a pic of the campus, and the circled location is where the crane will be.)  The crane will be up from 7am to approximately 9am in the morning, and then up again at approximately 1400-1600 during the afternoon.  The crane is 96 feet tall and can extend out 96 feet.  Access to the helipad during times the crane is erected will need to be from the West, East, or South if possible as coming in from the North you will fly directly over the crane, and any debris that is on the roof.
