This is completely off-topic.  Sorry...

I have run another email list for some years that may interest you.
It's called security-tips (for computers) and it's set up for delivery only, though I
will field questions and offer advice if you email to ma...@edt.com.
The idea is to stem the flood of malicious and criminal software through public education.

For example, many people don't know that most ISP's offer free
virus protection software.  Comcast supplies McAfee, one of the best
on the market.  There may be no reason to go out an buy a subscription.

Below is today's mailing, and there's about one or two per week, sometimes none.

If there's enough interest, this could become another google groups list.
