Jon and Peggy - WOW - You guys are absolutely great!.  I personally want to thank you for all the HARD work you've done these past few weeks.  It has not gone unnoticed.  I've seen you both out on the streets often working with others to evaluate new routes and handling safety and other issues.  Dennis and I are quite impressed.  A great big round of applause to you.

I know there are more issues to come up and I do hope you'll be able to work with those residents on Lincoln to discuss the future of Line #71.  I'm sure, as demonstrated, there can be some creative solutions devised to satisfy riders and residents.  I'm also sure there can be some great efficiencies (i.e. dollar savings for TriMet) gained by re-looking at the route and it's capacity/no. of trips through Mt. Tabor's residences.

If there's every any assistance (i.e. participation in discussions, small group venue - you can use our shop etc.) we can provide as residences, please do not hesitate to call on us.

Again, thank you.  - Dennis and Lou Wong

If this is true...We ALL should make the same amount of calls and give our thanks to John and Peggy as we did in the beginning when the issue started.
