Useful and informative tool by the Council of State Governments that allows you to compare a wide variety of socio-economic data points across the 50 states, ranging from pollution to teen birth rate to education level to poverty rates.  Helpful as you look to potentially evaluate your home state in reference to the rest of the nation, as well as compare the claims of certain candidates to their actual home state's performance.

There’s so much useful data out there, but not enough people who are able to present it in a way that is meaningful for most normal people or to be actionable.

I also think there isn’t enough of an understanding about data in general, such as the biases that come into play when you examine how and why the data were collected.
