Hey Everyone,

SitePoint is having a sale on "Simply Rails 2.0" book today and I am wondering if the book
is still relevant. The stable version of Rails at the time of writing was 2.0.3. Looking at the
Rails home page I see that the current version is 2.3.4.

Suggestions?

Thanks,

Craig

Hi Craig,

While I'm not familiar with the book, I've noticed a good number of changes from 2.0.x to 2.3.x that could confuse someone not familiar with Rails. Unless they offer an updated version, I might want to think twice before pulling the trigger. The nice thing about the PDF is that they may have updated it since the initial version, but I'm not sure.

James
