to Not Just Arduino
Hi all,

I'm building my 7th fighting robot for live events similar to the Robot Wars and whilst the lifting arm weapon is some time away from being ready, I was wondering whether i'd be able to pop along to a group meeting to get some help with the arduino code that will control it?

To give you all a little more detail, the lifting weapon assembly is basically a cheap winch from ebay and I've replaced the motor with a smaller and lighter brushless version connected to an appropriate 80 amp ESC. I plan to install some simple push buttons to act as limit switches but I need to use an arduino board to act as the 'filter' between the RC receiver and ESC that utilises the input of the limit switches so the lifting arm stops where it needs to. I'm pretty confident I can wire the whole thing up correctly and I think I could do some of the basics of the code but use of libraries such as that used for RC servos which might be needed here is beyond me.

Cheers

Dan
