I had another dream in the latest series of unconnected dreams from a
variety of settings, of content not obviously prompted by anything in
waking life. Sleeping during the day seems to induce such dreams, which
are probably remembered because during the daytime you get awakened by
some noise or disturbance in mid-dream, and hence remember it. In this
dream, a small group of us (who, I don't know) were hiking through the
scenic hills of the Southerntier (southern Western New York, near the
Pennsylvania border) when we came upon an abandoned dwelling in which we
found an LP album on the cover of which was a country singer (who, I did
not recognize; someone suggested his name) "Travis Tritt". Is there a
real country singer with this (plausible-sounding) name? I'll have to do
a
duckduckgo.com search later. The whole dream (or at least the part I
remember) lasted only about a minute. And aren't Long Play phonograph
records about two or three technologies ago in the recorded-music business?
