24 best classic rock songs of all time?

Downloading YouTube videos (many of which are just MP4s of great songs taken from CDs) while working at Starbucks.... and I wanted to jog my memory about good rock songs so I Googled up a list of classic ones. Here it is:

I hate to say it but I do not think I would include a single one of these songs except "Purple Haze" on my personal list if I had one..... Where is Cream? Where is the Who? Where is U2? Where is the RHCP and Radiohead and REM? And there should have been at least one ZZ Top song as well, preferably "Cheap Sunglasses", a true classic....

And where is "Louie, Louie"? 

As for "Start Me Up", you must be kidding.... "Gimme Shelter", da, "Start Me Up", nyet. "Brown Sugar", "Monkey Man", "Can't You Hear Me Knocking"... Those are great rock songs..... But "Start Me Up"? WTF?

And "Crosstown Traffic" is a much better song than "Purple Haze". And "On the Hunt" is a much better song than "Sweet Home Alabama". Etc. etc. etc.

Sheesh!
