Not sure, I did not read the liner notes.... This is not his first CD with this ensemble though. It is indeed a very nice track, have to get the earlier CDs. Maria Schneider's "Data Lords" came in the mail yesterday, stay tuned, I may post something about that one, but I do not think any of it is available at YouTube.

Speaking of jazz, I had heard that Mike Stern had a really nasty accident*, and happened to see an interview, so checked out what he was doing. Sheesh. That bloke’s got energy. (At the end of it he says: “And that’s a ballad”. He’s got a sense of humor, too.)

*: Broke both arms, right arm in multiple places leaving him with nasty nerve damage. He uses glue or double-stick tape to hold his pick. But, as you can hear, it works.
