It was suggested at the meeting that we might like to meet weekly
rather than fortnightly. This would allow us to cover more of the
papers.

What do people think?

I suspect that a lot of people would struggle to attend that many
meetings. However since each meeting will presumably be fairly self
contained around one paper this could work - depends how important a
consistent group is. For my part I often have a clash on wednesdays,
but I'll come when I can!

There are a lot of papers indeed, but I they don't seem to cover that
much ground.
Either they discuss a particular technical challange, or they describe
a solution for datacenter hosted databases.

I wouldn't spend more than 4 evenings on those two topics.

What about application design patterns using the technologies. As in
how do you make good apps using the various technologies.
I find that much more interesting.

For the current curriculum I prefer fortnightly.
