Hi All,
yesterday I helped Duncan ( http://feedmaze.com/mobilephone2003 ) get
his NoseRub site up and running. We chatted on the NoseRub IRC channel
for a while as he got it up and running. This discussion raised a
bunch of thoughts in my head, that I thought I'd share here:

1. If SSL is enabled in admin interface and SSL not possible on
server, it is not possible to disable SSL without manually hacking the
DB
2. system will work even if admin email address is not valid (left at
default). Can it be checked during system update?
3. Member count. In admin or perhaps as widget?
4. Video on how to setup noserub
5. action part of services to be set by user
6. number of people in last active widget be modifiable
7. MySpace support
8. revisit Facebook support

What are your thoughts?

Lance.

Hi Lance,

That's a bug.

Yes, that could be checked there.

> 3. Member count. In admin or perhaps as widget?

It was planned to have a user manager in the admin section, though it
was never finished...

What do you mean with "action part of services"?

> 6. number of people in last active widget be modifiable

That's imo a nice-to-have feature.

> 7. MySpace support

Yep, that's a missing service.

> 8. revisit Facebook support

If they provide a public feed, than it should be easy to extend the
current service for Facebook. If the data are only available via API,
then more work would be necessary.
