Move from the mailing lists to something more modern

What do you guys think about http://ost.io/@nose-devs?
It looks like a great free alternative. It works well.
I guess there is room for improvement but it's much more user friendly then mailing lists.

Anything that doesn't require me moderating every single message to avoid spam gets a +1 from me.

Not to sound like the old man on the list, but I prefer email.

What do you guys think about opening up the moderation (becoming
unmoderated), and letting spam filter do their thing? I know the Git
mailing list and the Linux kernel lists do that, and while they get
spam on the list, it rarely hits my inbox.

I'll try, but the last few times I've opened it up the list was swamped with porn spam within a day. At least the experiment will be over quickly if that happens again.

I like the ost.io site ok, but it doesn't seem like it sends notifications of new messages, so that wouldn't work very well for me at least.

And new features aren't coming quickly. It's such a shame.
