How to contribute to nose development.

Hi Guys,

I am using nose for past one year and I was thinking to contribute to developing and maintenance of this project. However this would be the first time I will be contributing to some open source project so I need your help guys.

So far i have done following things.

1. clone the github repository.

2. made the changes in the code (we had this weird requirement and for this we needed to do code change)

Following things are remaining, however I am not sure about process of how to do these.

1. Test the changes which I have made and want to build nose to make sure my changes are working perfectly.

2. And after that I would like to submit these changes so that it can be integrated in the next release.

would someone please let me know it, or point to the documentation where it is mentioned ?
