Potential bug with __init__

I had this weird experience where nose wouldn't work in the presence of __init__.py but worked great without it. I described the issue on stack overflow but since I suspect it's a bug I thought I would post it here as well. Can anyone else replicate this bug or is it something weird in my setup?
