Un día típico

Thank you for your letter. We are going to answer your questions, and
then tell you about our tipical day.
Duxbury has about 17,000 people. We play many team sports in Duxbury.
Some of our sports are ice hocky, field hockey, football, soccer,
basketball and lacrosse. Here fútbol is called soccer, and fútbol
americano is called football.
Our team colors are green and white.
In our free time we spend time with friends, and in the spring, summer
and fall we play many sports. We surf the web, and we go on Facebook.
Do you have Facebook? If we are in a band, we practice our music. Do
you have a band in your school?
We arrive at school at 8:30 am. We have eight classes. We have
History, Science, Math, Art, Gym, Health, English and Spanish.
Normally, we eat lunch with our friends at 12:00 in the cafeteria of
our school. Generally we eat sandwiches and fruit. Lunch lasts half an
hour. We leave school at 2:40 pm.
After school, we have lots of activities. We play sports. But here,
fútbol is called soccer. Futbol americano is called football in
English. Other activities are music, drama and other clubs. Genrally,
we have dinner at 6:00pm and we do our homework either before or after
dinner. For dinner we eat chicken, steak, or hamburgers and vegetables
and salad.
Do you wear a uniform to school? What is Don Quijote about? We
haven't read it yet. What do you eat for dinner and lunch normally? Do
you have Facebook?
What does "plastico" mean? And what is "la clase de concimiento de
media?

Gracias por vuestra carta. Vamos a contestar vuestras preguntas, y
entonces os decimos de nuestro día típica.
Duxbury tiene mås o menos 17,000 personas. Jugamos muchos deportes de
equipos. Los deportes son hocky de hielo, hocky de campo, fútbol
americano, fútbol, basquetbol, y lacrosse. Aquí fútbol se llama
soccer, y fútbol americano se llama football. Los colores de nuestros
equipos son verde y blanco.
En nuestro tiempo libre, pasamos un rato con los amigos, y en la
primavera, el verano, y el otoño, jugamos muchos deportes. Navegamos
por internet, y vamos a facebook. Si nosotros estamos en la banda de
la escuela, practicamos nuestra música. Tenéis una banda en vuestra
escuela? Nosotros llegamos en el colegio a las ocho y media. Tenemos
ocho clases. Tenemos historia, ciencias, matemáticas, arte, educación
física, inglés, salúd, y español. Normalmente, almorzamos a las doce
en la cafeteia de nuestro colegio con nustros amigos. Generalmente
comemos los sandwiches y fruta. El almuerzo dura una media hora.
Salimos del colegio a las tres menos veinte de la tarde. Después de la
escuela, tenemos muchos actividades. Jugamos los deportes. Otros
actividades son la música, drama, y otros clubes. Generalmente,
tenemos la cena a las seis, y antes o despues de la cena, hacemos la
tarea. Nosotros comemos el pollo, el bístec o las hamburguesas con las
verduras, y la ensalada.

at the school, we only need to wear a tracksuit when we have PE.
Don Quijote is about a man who reads many knight books, he becomes
crazy and lives many adventures in the company of his friend Sancho
Panza.
For dinner we use to eat Pisto, which is a mixture of green peppers
with tomatoe, meat with potatoes, spanish omelete, and also hamburgers
or pizza. For lunch we have "paella", pasta, meat, lentils, bread,
salads, fruit and many more things!
But we don't eat at school, we eat at home.
Most of us have a facebook account but we have a similar website
called "tuenti" that we use more than facebook.
"Plástico" means plastic in Spanish, and "Plástica" is the spanish
word for Art.
"Conocimiento del medio" is a subject which includes basic knowledge
(conocimiento) of Geography, History, Biology and Science.

llevamos uniforme en la escuela, solo llevamos chándal cuando hacemos
educación física.
Don Quijote trata sobre un hombre que lee muchos libros de caballería,
él se vuelve loco y vive muchas aventuras en compañía de su amigo
Sancho Panza.
Para cenar nosotros comemos pisto, que es una mezcla de pepino con
tomate, carne con patatas, tortilla española y a veces, hamburguesas y
pizza. Para comer tomamos paella, pasta, carne, lentejas, ensaladas,
fruta y muchas cosas más.
Pero nosotros no comemos en la escuela, comemos en casa.
La mayoría de nosotros tiene facebook, pero tenemos un sitio web
similar llamado "tuenti" que usamos más que el facebook.
"Plástico" es plástica, es hacer trabajos, dibujos, trabajar con el
arte.
Conocimiento del medio es una asignatura que incluye ciencia,
biología, geografía e historia.

We don’t wear uniforms. We wear jeans, t shirts, sweatshirts, and
sneakers.
We have ten girls in our class. The girls are named Aly, Emma, Kitty,
Margaret, Maggie, Maddy, Ellie, Summer, Mary Kate, and Erin.
We have six boys in our class. Their names are Peter, Niall, Chris,
Mickey, Tyler, and James.
We don’t have a tuenti. We only use Facebook. We are going to look up
tuenti over the vacation. We will google it.
Our favorite football team is the Patriots. Our favorite soccer team
is the United States. We also like Ireland and Spain. Do you play
frecuently? Do you have a dog or a cat? What are your names? What
type of music do you listen to?
We are going on school vacation for a week. In vacation some of us
went skiing, some went on vacation to another place, and some stayed
home. Do you have vacation? Where do you go? Have you visited the
United States?
We have a wall of your letters and new words in our class. We have a
map with your town in Spain. ¡Its very pretty! We will send you a
photo when we can.

Ana. We are seven boys in our class, Rubén, Mohamed, Javi, Arturo,
Ernesto, Eustaquio and Souhail.
We play soccer everyday in the streets, in the sports centre and at
school in the playground.
We have sixteen cats in total and twenty-seven dogs!! Some of their
names are Garfield, Alaska, Senda, Rabete, Yaki, Misi, Goofy, Luna,
Rocky, Beethoven, Aelita, Cookie, Otis, Braco, Messi, Calcetines...
and many more.
We listen pop, d's, hardcore, heavy metal, everything except classical
music!
We have vacations for carnival, summer, Christmas and the "holy week",
a special religious holiday in spring.
We don't go to the United States but we want to go, our teacher was in
New Orleans for a year teaching spanish.
