# Meeting Details

DATE: Saturday, December 11, 2021

NEW TIME: 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

This month we'll be using Airmeet — the same platform that we used for Norwescon 43 and that we'll be using for our upcoming Norwescon Waypoint mini-con!

Airmeet works best in Google Chrome. Other browsers may not have full functionality.

## Agenda

We will start by going directly into department breakouts at 10 a.m. -- find your department in the Arena tab of Airmeet. When your breakout ends, hop over to the tables to hang out, chat, and socialize. The main meeting with announcements and department reports will start at noon. If you don't need to attend one of the breakout meetings, feel free to just join us at noon to find out what we've all discussed!

### Holiday Social

It's time for the Holiday Social! Stick around in Airmeet after the meeting to hang out with your friends, play some games, and participate in our Holiday Recipe Exchange. Bring your favorite holiday recipe to share with everyone, typed and ready to copy/paste, and spread your particular flavor of holiday cheer.

## Conduct

If you need to activate your camera or microphone during the meeting, we ask that you respect all of your fellow staff members and refrain from broadcasting inappropriate imagery, symbols, or language. # NOVEMBER MEETING RECAP

Tonya stepped down as Chair, and Jeanine agreed to be Acting Chair through the rest of this cycle. There was a discussion about holding a Special Election to fill the role of Chair, but the timing of an election as called for in the Bylaws appears to make that impossible. It was agreed that the bylaws will be reworked to address this kind of situation. Rob agreed to be interim Vice Chair.

### What positions are open?

There are a number of positions looking for people to fill them:

* Secretary Second: Michael would like train someone to take over as Secretary. If you are interested, please contact Michael (Secretary).

* Hotel Search Committee: We have contracts with the DoubleTree for the next couple of years, but conditions and needs in the post-Covid world means this might be a good time to see what might better meet our needs. If you are interested in being part of the committee, contact Rob Stewart (Treasurer).

* IT Lead and IT Staff for Convention Services: If you are interested, contact Alan Bond (Convention Services).

* Registration Leads and Registration Workers: If you are interested, contact Michelle Morrell (Member Services).

* Personnel has lots of open positions in Special Events, Member Services, convention lounge, fun director (opportunities to add little bits of “fun stuff” to the con: scavenger hunts, etc.), teen runners. If you are interested, contact Myke Gheparde (Personnel). 

* Waypoint Room Hosts: Waypoint will be held in Airmeet, and room hosts are needed. If you are interested, contact Bernie Strub.
