New Sunday School class in the WD
North Worship Department
On Sunday, September 30, a new Bible study class began in the
WD's rehearsal studio at 9:30 AM. The class is taught by Rev. Ken
Cordray and it is being offered to all WD members that do not
currently or consistently attend a Bible study class on Sunday
mornings.
The class is currently comprised of approximately 15 members.
There are singers, actors, band members, spouses, etc. in attendance.
The Bible study is the same study as the one being taught in a
"normal" Sunday School class on Sunday mornings around the North
campus.
The class has been designed to fit into the Sunday morning
schedule of our WD members. That means the class will begin at 9:30
AM (just after the music) and end at 10:00 AM (just prior to the song
of response closing a service). It is a great opportunity to spend
time in the Word and still fulfill your ministry within the worship
services of North Campus.
If you do not currently and consistently attend a Bible study
class on Sunday mornings, please plan on attending. Remember that
God's Word is the Bread of Life. He wants us to spend time in it and
with it. I know, first hand, that spending time in His Word has on
Sunday morning has made a difference in my worship of and to Him.
Please make plans on attending this Sunday. Rev. Steve Livengood
will be teaching our class this coming Sunday as Ken ministers at the
race track through our VRO ministry.
