✊ "Shut Down Line 5!" protest tomorrow to greet Pres. Biden

Dear comrades,

Tomorrow - March 2 - President Biden is going to be making a brief appearance in Superior to promote his legislative agenda.  A wide range of groups, from the Native Lives Matter Coalition to the Northwoods Socialist Collective, have decided to greet him with a "Shut Down Line 5!" pipeline protest.

We'll be gathering in front of the Douglas County Courthouse on the corner of Belknap Street and Hammond Avenue from 1 to 3pm.

The Enbridge Line 5 threatens the Bad River Watershed and three great lakes. We need federal investments in clean energy and climate action through the Build Back Better Act, and a moratorium on new fossil fuel infrastructure. We will have signs on hand, but feel free to bring your own signs, and your energy! This will be a peaceful, legal gathering. We will GATHER at the Douglas County Courthouse before Biden arrives, and MARCH to the UWS campus to rally as close to the Yellowjacket Union as possible while Biden speaks.
