Hello everyone-

OCJEA is tomorrow!

The competition is at Fullerton College, at the intersection of N Lemon St and E Chapman Ave. Please wear your Howler jacket (if you have one) and bring money for lunch. 

The day's schedule is: 

• Registration and Refreshments – 8:30-9:00 a.m.
• Welcome and Instructions – 9-9:20 a.m.
• Yearbook Teams and Photography – 9:30 – 11:30 a.m.
• Newspaper Press Conferences – 9:30-10:30 a.m.
• Newspaper Writing & Drawing Time – 10:30-11:30 a.m.
• Lunch & Break – 11:30-4 p.m.
• Broadcast Presentations & Awards Ceremony – 4-5:30 p.m.

If you're a writer, you must bring notebook paper and a pen. You can also bring a dictionary, thesaurus, or stylebook. You can't bring a laptop or a recorder. 

If you're doing layout, bring a ruler and pencil, just in case computers aren't available. 

I'm still trying to contact Monsoon about the carpool list, but if you arranged for a ride through her in class, then meet at school at 7:15am. I'll email again as soon as I reach her.

The carpool arrangement isn't really working, so instead:

If you have a ride, then awesome! You're fine! Please arrive at Fullerton by 8am. 

If you don't have a ride, text me at 949-231-7988 and I'll get you a ride with me, Christine Lee, or Aleena.
